You’d better offer a possibly higher price, expecting them to bargain with you.

As she got older, she got haggard. Gone are the days when she was young and attractive.

It seems that I will sit up the night correcting these test papers.

The firm soaked me for the few repairs they did to my house.

9、  他开了一个餐馆发了财。

He has become rich by starting a restaurant.

10、他承包了一个餐馆发了财。

   He has become rich by running a restaurant on a contract.
