1、  开局不错，我们还得制定一些具体的后续措施。

Though we had a well-begun, we should lay out some concrete follow-up measures.

Random fees and fines, unauthorized inspections and compulsory donations must be firmly prohibited and regional protection and industrial monopoly must also be broken down so as to create a unitary and open market environment with fair competition for private-run enterprises.

3、  解决台湾问题纯属中国内政，不容外国干涉，我们不希望外国干涉，但也不怕外国干涉。

Taiwan issue is completely China’s internal affairs. It brooks no interference from any foreign country. We do not want foreign interference, yet we are not afraid of any.

4、  万事都要留有余地，不可做绝，记住物极必反。

Whatever you do, never do it to the full. Keep it in your mind that two extremes meet.

5、  人们强烈地感受到9.11事件给历史发展进程带来的变化。

People feel strongly that the September.11th Incident brought a great change in the process of historical advancement.

6、  从这最后一次彩排中，我们发现许多不足之处。

This is the last rehearsal from which we have found many parts to be improved.

7、  全球核冲突的唯一结果就是人类文明的毁灭，而防止核冲突的唯一办法就是增强地球村的概念。

The global nuclear conflict can only result in the destruction of human civilization and the only way to avoid the conflict is to intensify the concept of global village.

Artistic personality is a born gift, nearly all of the people with such a personality hate mathematics.

9、  他是新手，难免怯场，但愿观众别喝倒彩。

He is a greenhand who will most likely suffer stage fright. I wish that no one will make his cat’s call.

10、只有平等的谈判才能谈出双赢的局面。

Only by negotiation on equal footing can we make a win-win deal.
